This year was full of mechanical issues, Gabor only managed to finish 3 races out of 5, so a victory was needed to be able to win the championship.
On his “home” race, he gave everything, and pushed the pedal to the metal with Tamas Timar on his side. They managed to win a stage, but they were second all the way, and finished in this position aswell. They’re now second in championship standings.
“We had mathematical chance before this race, but Vince was too fast today. We were on our limit, we haven’t had any problems today. Sadly, our former luck wasn’t this good. We still have a chance for 2nd place in Championship, so we’re on it. “
