Tim’s fourth victory

Tim has been participating on Szilveszter Rallye since 2010, which is the last race of the season.

He won his first in 2016, and since then he continued to deliver this great result. In this year, he did it again, which means a 4 in a row for the Hungarian in his category.

Gabor won the Skoda Octavia Cup in 2016, and he started his outstanding performance on Szilveszter Rallye that year aswell.

He finished 37th overall with his handbuilt Nissan Sunny Gti. 2017 brought the same result, H4 category win for Tim. 2018 had a little twist, he participated with a Peugeot 208 R2, but he was unstoppable, as he won the H7 category, and finished 14th overall.

This year he unwrapped his old friend, and with David Gyarmati as his co-driver, they went for it in H8 category. They were off for a fantastic start, and kept on pushing during the 2 day event. After 6 stages, they finished with an advantage of 16 seconds in category, and P20 out of 160 overall.

“I know that this race is basically for fun, but I can’t stand pushing real hard. Last year I had a pretty awesome opportunity as I raced the Peugeot, this year my old friend followed. We had quite an exhausting race, but I’ll left with pride. I finished in 2nd place in Rallye2, and I also won this event, so I’m hoping for the best in 2020.”
