Although he isn’t a rallye driver he gain a foothold in the category, and became a real challenger. His car isn’t factory made, but it became much better and powerful during the years.
They started really well, gained 12 seconds of advantage on the first stage, and increased it all the way until the finish. At the second day they almost had an advantage of 30 seconds, so they won the category confidently.
„We did it, finally! Enjoyed the whole race, we made a really good team with Tomi. The car had some heating issues, and we did a stage without clutch, but it doesn’t matter at all. We’ll work on the car in 2017. We’d like to participate on Rally2 events as a real challenger. I’d like to say a huge thank you to all of the supporters, and for my father, who did the maintenance on the car during the event.” Said Gábor after the event.
Gábor also put his mark in rallye after track racing. Currently his 2017 possibilities are unknown, but he’ll start on rallye events for sure.
