Gábor Tim is competing in MARB Rallye Championship this year. The four-time champion pick up the pace early, and got a place in the leading pack already.
Oroszlány Rallye was his fifht race this season, so far he managed to get 2 overall and 3 category wins.
With co-pilot Tamás Timár, the twain finished only 8th on the first SS. Through the race, they managed to switch pace, and finished 2nd overall after 6 stages.
Owing to this result they currently leading the category of 2000cc, and struggling to get the overall championship too.
„Our last race wasn’t the best, we were far behind on Zobákpuszta. This time we arrived more prepared, and here is the result. We tried out a new tyre, which did behave different, but we get used to it. In rallye, you need to change your driving style from stage to stage, and fortunately I can cope with this. We need a bit more to win the overall title, but we do our best.”
