Astonishing beginning, podium and victory, thats how Tim debuted in Rallye2. But rallye shown its real face, and all of its difficulties. The victories have been followed by 2 DNF’s, and then Veszprém Rallye, with its challenging curves, and less success for the duo.
Tim’s circuit experience doesn’t really matter on gravel events. Hard, rocky surface, where the ideal line doesn’t exists, a path must be found to be fast, but it wasn’t the only hard thing to beat.
The Tim – Tímár duo finished 9th overall, which worth 7 points, and a current 5th position overall.
„This one didn’t go well. I didn’t get the feeling for it, we haven’t had the pace, so there wasn’t really a chance to improve. Atleast we collected some points, but it’s not enough. We need to move forward really soon. Of course, we’ll try to find the reason why were we that slow, and more importantly, we need to get back to podium places on the last 3 races. Our rivals were better, congratulations to them! We won’t stop, thats for sure.”
