In his second Rallye2 season, Tim and Timar started the year as a championship contender. It started of well, but mechanical issues followed all the way to Baranya Cup, where their only option was to win, to keep their chances alive.
They set of well with a 2nd place on Komlo prologue, and they continued with a win on SS3, which meant a 4 sec. disadvantage overall.
On SS4, a gearbox failure appeared, and they lost third gear, but they kept on pushing. Sadly, they couldn’t attack for first place, so they finished 2nd.
“It was a good and both lucky-unlucky race if we watch it like this, but we had the pace to win it. This second place means a lot of points, which is well needed. We need to give everything on the last 2 races. I hope that we can left our problems behind for this year, and we can push as much as possible. We don’t give up!”
