After circuit racing (Suzuki Cup, RCM Cup, Skoda Octavia Cup champion) G\u00e1bor ran his first year in rally with his handbuilt Nissan Sunny Gti.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Tim participated in 10 rally events with his co-driver Tam\u00e1s T\u00edm\u00e1r this year. The duo acquired the\u00a0 overall and category champion title\u00a0 of MARB Northern Region after finished 5th in B\u00f3zsva \u2013 Telkib\u00e1nya Rally.<\/p>\n

They became 3rd in MARB National (Eastern, Northern, Southern cat. overall) from nearly 120 participators. Also got 2nd place in 2000cc3 National.<\/p>\n

During the season they collected 3 absolute and 4 category wins, also many podiums. The first season considered successful by Tim:<\/p>\n

\u201e I have dissimiliar feelings over our season. Though we had race wins, we also had DNFs and unsuccessful events. We missed experience in these conditions, thats why whe ran into annoying mistakes. If we could run this championship from the beginning again I think we could achieve a better result. Do not misunderstand my words, I feel really blessed about my year, and I like to say huge thanks to everyone who supported me during this hard season, and made this whole thing possible. First of all to my family,to our handful sponsor background, to Tam\u00e1s, my co-driver, and every friend of us.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

G\u00e1bor have plans for 2018 also, including a Rallye2 season, or Rallycross, not least turn back to track racing, which of course recommend a proper financial background.<\/p>\n

Whatever happens, he\u2019ll have the final challenge of this year, the Szilveszter Rallye, which he won in 2016.<\/p>\n
